Cincy Dance for PD Takes Summer Vacation
The Dancing with Parkinson’s class will take a summer vacation in July. The
last class before the break will be Wednesday, June 27. The program will
resume in August with August 8, 15, and 22 special trial classes. The
instructors for this class were trained by David Leventhal who was featured
in the June 12 rerun of the Frontline program abut Dave Iverson’s PD.
These special classes will be open to anyone interested in trying out this
marvelous movement opportunity. This dance class is intended for people with
Parkinson’s and their care partners and offers a way to have fun and be
creative while moving and stretching. Partners are not needed. The class
meets Wednesdays at 2:00 pm at de la Arts Place, 5041 Oaklawn Drive in
Oakley. There is no charge for the class. For more information, contact
