„Daughter“ SBI Holdings launches bitcoin lending service

SBI VC Trade, a subsidiary of the Japanese financial conglomerate SBI Holdings, has announced the launch of a crypt currency lending service.

The VC Trade Lending service will allow profits to be generated by lending to other users. The fee is 1% per annum including tax.

Bitcoin contract loan is granted for 84 days. The minimum loan amount is 0.1 BTC ($1840), the maximum is 5 BTC ($92,000).

In the first stage, the service works only with bitcoins. Later on, SBI VC Trade will add Ethereum, XRP and other coins and extend the loan periods.

Recall that in October, Fintech-start-up Ripple announced plans to invest an unspecified amount in a subsidiary of SBI Holdings – the operator of MoneyTap payment application based on RippleNet.

In the same month, the placement of tokenized shares was announced by another „daughter“ of the Japanese conglomerate, SBI e-Sports.
